Award winning Artist Jeweller Ella works with strong shapes and diverse materials to create playful sophisticated contemporary jewellery that references historical forms.

Ella is influenced by decorative and domestic objects and seeks her inspiration in sources as diverse as Roman Jewellery, 17th Century glassware and Edwardian aesthetics whilst embracing a contemporary edge.  She realises her designs through a mixed palette of precious and non-precious materials, enjoying the conversations between them.

Her work has been described as “Sumptuous silhouettes in mixed materials” (Gill Wing Jewellery 2018).

Passionate about the energy of the finished pieces, Ella feels her work comes to life when worn where its colour, balance and movement can be fully appreciated.

Ella’s jewellery won a Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Award in 2018.
